Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts, Every Other Weekend Required, Holidays Required as needed

Job Summary:
Join a dynamic team of dedicated healthcare professionals in our Emergency Department (ED) as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN). In this critical role, you will provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients experiencing a range of emergency situations. Youll be equipped to handle diverse incidents, engaging with patients of all ages and addressing both physical and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess incoming patients swiftly and accurately, prioritizing their injuries and medical needs.
- Provide specialized and innovative nursing services in emergency care.
- Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare personnel to develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Respond promptly and decisively to a variety of trauma situations, using critical thinking and clinical judgment.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care while ensuring a supportive and safe environment for patients.

Requirements:

Skills Experience:
- Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience in an emergency department setting.
- Recent ED experience within the past six months is required.
- Proven ability to demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate effective patient and family interactions.

Certifications Licensure:
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Additional certifications in Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS, and CEU Contact Stroke (4 hours) are required.

Education:
- No specific educational requirements; however, a background in nursing is essential.
