Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, every other weekend, holidays required. No on-call required.
Contract Length: 89 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 hours per week

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurses (ED RNs) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a crucial part of the Emergency Department, you will provide specialized and innovative care to patients requiring timely medical attention. Our ED RNs are trained to manage a variety of emergency situations for diverse patient populations, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize incoming patients based on their injuries and medical needs.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, critical environment.
- Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to formulate and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Exhibit strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities essential for the role.
- Prepare to encounter various trauma situations and respond with decisive actions in emergencies.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of Emergency Department experience, preferably as a returning traveler.
- ED experience within the past six months is essential.
- Valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS, and CEU Contact Stroke (4 Hours).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications are a plus.

Skills:
- Strong communication skills to engage with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.
- Ability to perform diverse nursing services with compassion and professionalism.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations.

Education:
- Education requirements are not specified; however, a nursing degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
