Shift: 09:00 AM - 07:30 PM
Location: Surgery Center, First Floor

Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 19 Main PACU, 4 Atrium PACU
- Staffing: 13 Full-Time RNs, Clinical Coordinators, and Department Assistants
- Patient Ratios: 2:1, 1:1 for unstable ICU patients, and 1:1 for pediatric patients
- Equipment Used: Ventilators, Phillips and GE monitors, Sigma Spectrum pumps
- EMR: Meditech

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PACU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced Surgery Center environment. In this role, you will provide critical post-anesthesia care to ensure optimal recovery for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer care to patients recovering from anesthesia, monitoring vital signs and readiness for discharge
- Manage PCA pumps and perform drip titration as needed
- Conduct arterial line blood draws
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the EMR system

Qualifications:
- Required Skills:
- PACU or ICU experience
- Ventilator competency

- Preferred Skills:
- ICU or PACU drip titration
- Experience in neurosurgery

Ideal candidates will possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, a strong team-oriented mindset, and a reliable work ethic.

Certifications Required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Work Environment:
- No floating required
- Dress code: Navy scrubs
- On-call responsibilities include weekdays from 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM and weekend call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, with rotation among staff
