Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Position Details
Cardiac Tele RN--2 North - 16-week contract!
NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (no candidates within 50-mile radius)
MUST pass EKG Exam at Orientation (Study Guide Available in Simplify Library)
Must be proficient with lab draws and IVs required
BLS, ACLS required
12-Hr DAYS, Every other weekend/major holiday required
ITO will interview and offer
Unit Specific Details
28-Bed Tele/Progressive Care Unit
Drips: Non-titratable cardiac drips (Amio, Milrinone, Dobutamine, Cardizem, Heparin).
Lines/Drains/Devices: NG tubes, Tube Feeding (Kangaroo Pumps), Chest Tubes, Wounds Vacs.
Airway: Trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, Heated High Flow, High Flow. No ventilators on this unit.
Patient Population: Cardiac telemetry. We are tele level, do have med surg pts that require tele monitoring, do not take titratable drips, but some cardiac drips.
Scrubs: Navy blue, white, or any combination of the two colors.
Ratio: 1:4-5
All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normal staffing.
