Sonographer - OB/GYN
Join our team as a skilled Sonographer specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN). In this role, you will use ultrasound technology to create diagnostic images that support the care of pregnant women and patients with gynecological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound examinations on pregnant women to monitor fetal development and detect any abnormalities.
- Conduct gynecological ultrasounds to evaluate conditions such as cysts, tumors, or other reproductive health issues.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort during testing.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate results and proper functionality.
- Document examination findings accurately in patient records, collaborating with healthcare providers to develop care plans.
Work Environment:
- The role is based in hospitals, OB/GYN clinics, or imaging centers equipped with advanced ultrasound technology.
- This position requires attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills when working with patients in sensitive healthcare situations.
