Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Morristown, New Jersey.
Job Description Requirements
- Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist

- Duration: 13 weeks
- 38 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, evenings
- Employment Type: Travel
. Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist
. Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
. The ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
. The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist
. The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
. Strong communication skills using closed loop communication
. The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load
. Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons
. Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system
. Groin management post intervention
. Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment
. BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures
. Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state ( defined in above JD.)
. This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.
3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
