SUMMARY

As a Clinical Leader of Long-Term Care your exceptional ability to manage and guide staff, keen attention to detail, along with your demonstrated empathy for patients, makes you a valuable resource for the unit.

STATUS: Full-Time

LOCATION: Clifton Springs Nursing Home

SCHEDULE: 40 hours

ATTRIBUTES

  • Two (2) years of RN experience preferred
  • Experience with the geriatric population preferred
  • Compassionate, kind and patient focused
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Unit Staff Management. Round on staff and physicians; resolve any issues or concerns found while rounding; complete rounding log and report to Nurse Manager; identify all high risk residents and ensure plan of care is current; ensure appropriate number of staff is available on unit at all times
  • Communication Evaluation. Ensure staff is recognized for hard work and jobs well done; communicate any staffing needs to Nurse Manager; coach staff privately when needed

EDUCATION:

AS: Nursing (Required)

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

$42.18 - $55.43

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
