Job Description: CT Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is instrumental in providing high-quality imaging services to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, as well as a strong focus on patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:
- Operate CT imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images as directed by physicians.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the imaging process.
- Collaborate with medical staff to interpret imaging results and participate in patient care decisions.
- Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform venipuncture as needed for contrast administration; angiography and biopsy experience preferred but not required.
- Adhere to protocols for infection control and radiation safety.
- Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding CT procedures.

Qualifications:
- Must be CT Registered (2nd Registry) within 12 months of hire date.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Computed Tomography, preferably in a Trauma/Cardiac facility.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (SNMT).
- BLS certification required.
- Proficient in the operation of Siemens CT equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Work Details:
- Shift: Monday to Thursday, 9 AM - 7:30 PM
- On-call: No
- Weekends: Yes, on a rotating basis
- Expected weekly hours: 36 hours
- Dress code: Caribbean Blue and Black Scrubs (any combination of two, except black on black)
