Job Description: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position involves providing respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions across a range of settings, with a focus on delivering excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and therapies to patients, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary under the supervision of a physician.
- Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment including ventilators, nebulizers, and other related devices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory health, disease management, and equipment usage.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies.

Requirements:

- Valid RRT license in good standing (PAN).
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in both day and night shift operations and a willingness to adapt to variable schedules.
- Current certifications in BLS, and any additional certifications as needed.

Facility Information:

- Shift: 12 hours, variable day/night shifts.
- Expected Hours: 36 per week.
- Parking: Free on-site parking.
- Dress Code: Scrubs and stethoscope lab coat required.

Additional Information:

- Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination or approved declination is required.
- This position offers guaranteed hours for the contract duration of 13 weeks.
