The Inpatient Childrens Unit provides safe, secure behavioral health treatment for children and adolescents ages 5 to 17 that require acute inpatient level of care. Unit Size/Beds: 26 Expected Ratios: Days (4 RNs, 1:6-7), Eves (4RNs 1:6-7), Nights (1 RN 1:26) Cases seen: Mood disorders, Disruptive mood dysregulation disorders, Suicidal ideation, Neurodevelopmental disorders (ADD, ADHD) Years of Exp preferred: Minimum 1 year recent psychiatric experience with child-adolescent population preferred Certifications required: CPI, BLS (AHA) CPR (hospital willing to provide on-site training) CT RN license required, Bachelors degree preferred/Associates degree acceptedEPIC experience preferred 40 hours/week, 5 8 hour shifts (3p-11:30p), EOW, rotating holiday requirements, must be willing to float to adult unit to support facility as needed #HCRR
