Job Title: CT Scan/General Diagnostic X-Ray Technologist

Location: Various Healthcare Facilities

Shift: Nights / Weekender
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32 (2-12 hour shifts + 1-8 hour shift)
Schedule: Friday (11pm-7:30am); Saturday and Sunday (6:30pm-7am)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Scan/General Diagnostic X-Ray Technologist to perform multimodality procedures on both ambulatory and hospital patients in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable covering both CT and X-Ray departments during nighttime hours. Experience with Siemens equipment is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform high-quality multimodality procedures according to established exam protocols and in a timely manner.
- Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by adhering to established standards and procedures.
- Prepare patients for multimodality procedures by positioning them accurately, adjusting immobilization devices, and controlling equipment settings for optimal image quality.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by following established safety, infection control, drug, and radiation policies and protocols.
- Collaborate with engineers and physicists to maintain operational efficiency of imaging equipment.
- Report any technical issues to management or the appropriate departments promptly.
- Maintain medical imaging records according to departmental policies, ensuring timely documentation for interpretation.
- Participate in quality assurance and control programs to ensure that high standards for exams are met and that equipment is properly maintained.

Qualifications:

- Graduate from a recognized Specialty Training Program (Required).
- Certification(s) and License(s):
- Basic Life Support Certification (Default Issuing Body).
- Certified Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Skills:

- Strong analytical thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient computer literacy.
- Ability to work independently.

Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Individuals in this role will be accountable for fulfilling job-specific obligations and complying with all organizational policies and procedures.
