HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Boone, North Carolina.
Job Description Requirements
- Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Registered Nurse - ICU
Position Details:
- Specialty: ICU RN
- Unit: ICU - 16140
- Facility: Watauga Medical Center
- Location: Boone, NC
- Start Date: September 2, 2025
- Duration: 20 weeks
- Shift: Day shift (3x12-hour shifts, 06:45-19:15)
Requirements:
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (all current)
- Required Experience: 1.5 years recent ICU experience
- Required Skills:
- Ventilator management
- Vasoactive drip titration
- Dysrhythmia interpretation/management
- Central line management
- ABG interpretation
- EMR: Epic proficiency (recent experience required)
- Licensing: Active NC or multistate license required
Schedule Details:
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Float requirements: Must float to IMCU MedSurg as needed
- Holiday requirement: Must be flexible for holiday coverage
- No blocked schedule requests accepted
Additional Information:
- Patient ratio: 1:1-2
- Patient population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Uniform: All white or all navy scrubs
- Local rule: No candidates within 40 miles of facility
