Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide exceptional respiratory support in the Emergency Department (ED) and on the Acute Care Unit (ACU) in a dynamic hospital environment. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for the following key duties:

- Deliver respiratory treatments and therapies to patients in the ED and Med/Surg settings.
- Manage and monitor ventilators and BiPAP therapy, ensuring proper patient care and equipment functionality.
- Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and pulmonary function tests (PFT).
- Perform 6-minute walk tests to assess patient respiratory capacity and endurance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of patient assessments and treatment results.

Qualifications:

- Valid Respiratory Therapy license.
- Relevant clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
