About

Centrum Surgical Center is a fully licensed and accredited multi-specialty facility, equipped with six pre-operative stations, a dedicated pediatric pre-op station, and four operating rooms. We offer patient accommodations for up to 23-hour stays, supported by a full-time, closed anesthesia staff and on-site radiology capabilities. Our center is contracted with most major insurance carriers, ensuring accessibility for our patients.

We hold full certification and licensing from the State of Colorado and the Medicare program. Additionally, Centrum Surgical Center proudly carries accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), reflecting our commitment to excellence.

Our dedication to quality care is evident through our participation in state and national healthcare quality initiatives, including AAAHC and CMS Healthcare Quality Alliance, Association of periOperative Registered Nursing (AORN), Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), and ASC Quality Collaboration. We continuously monitor various areas to evaluate processes and outcomes, such as surgical appropriateness, sterilization of instruments, pre-procedure time-outs, medication administration safety, prevention of healthcare-acquired infections, and thrombosis risk assessment. We have also implemented an internal survey process to ensure ongoing consultative reviews of our performance against quality standards.
