Home Care Solutions was founded with a clear purpose. In January 1996, Tamara Sullivan, an empty nester with a rich background in senior care, decided it was time to make a meaningful impact. Her extensive experience in the medical field had given her a deep understanding of the essential need for quality elderly care. Most recently, she honed her skills at a durable medical equipment company, where she gained invaluable business insights.

Under the mentorship of a unique entrepreneur and seasoned businessman, Sullivan learned the intricacies of running a successful enterprise. "When I expressed my ambition to own a company someday, he generously shared his knowledge and guidance," Sullivan recalls. Driven by a commitment to excellence, she co-founded Home Care Solutions with a partner, whom she later bought out as he pursued other ventures.

The company's growth was significantly bolstered by her partnership with the late George Zirnhelt.
