LD RNs monitor baby's heart rate and provide immediate care to the newborn. LD RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>LD RNs perform knowledge of phlebotomy, basic IV and central lines</li><li>Assess and record maternal vital signs throughout labor and post-partum stages</li><li>Administer pain medication and other medicines as ordered</li><li>Educate and support new mothers and families on infant care </li></ul>
