<b>Description</b> <br> <br><b>Location:</b> UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion - Aurora, CO<br><br><b>Department:</b> ENT Otolaryngology<br><br><b>FTE:</b> Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)<br><br><b>Shift:</b> Days <br><br><b>Pay:</b> $20.26 - $26.34 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience<br><br><b>Summary:</b>Coordinates all aspects of surgery scheduling.<br><br><b>Responsibilities:</b>Schedules inpatient and outpatient surgical appointment times using computerized scheduling programs. <br><br>Coordinates with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure availability of facilities, surgeon, staff and equipment. <br><br>Communicates with patients and/or their families to provide necessary pre-procedure instructions and to confirm appointments. <br><br>Performs insurance verification and/or pre-authorizations as necessary.<br><br>Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.<br><br><strong>Requirements:</strong><br><ul><li>Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED. </li><li>Required Licensure/Certification: Relevant life support certification as determined at position level. </li><li>Minimum Experience: None required.</li></ul><ul><li><b>We improve lives.
