We want your knowledge and expertise!</p><strong>Job Summary and Qualifications</strong><p>As a Radiology Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for setup and assist physicians with procedures as needed (i.e., abscess drainage, biopsy, consent for invasive procedures and follow-ups, as necessary). We want you to apply now!</p><p><b>What You Will Do In This Role:</b></p><p> You will be responsible for EKG monitoring when necessary.</p><p> You will be responsible for administering medications/blood as ordered.</p><p> You will be responsible for start of saline locks and I.V.'s according to IVP/CT protocol.</p><p> You will be responsible for catheterization of patients in department.</p><p> You will monitor patients receiving I.V. sedation under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.</p><p> You will be responsible for informing the Radiologist/Technologist of any penitent changes in the patient's condition.</p><p><b>What Qualifications You Will Need:</b></p><p> Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.</p><p> Current Texas licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners is required.</p><p> BSN is preferred.</p><p> Two years of hospital experience is required.</p><p> Basic EKG certification is required.</p><p> IV Therapy certification is required.</p><p> IV Medication course is required.</p><p> American Heart Association BLS certification is required.</p><p> American Heart Association ACLS certified is required within six months of hire.</p><p>At HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe, superior healthcare meets the comfort and convenience of a comprehensive hospital, close to home, in Conroe, Texas.
