Experience:

. 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 3 years.

Requirements:

. Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

. This role may require floating to additional units and locations

. Local travel allowed. Candidates living

. Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Acute Care

Scheduling: Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable.

Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.

Peds experience

Every other weekend (Saturday / Sunday on Day Shift and either Friday / Saturday or Saturday / Sunday on night shift to follow unit patterns)

Every other Holiday (Days holidays are: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. Nights holidays are: Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Memorial Day Eve, the 3rd of July Nights, and Labor day Eve)

Floating to other units/departments?Yes, all nurses in department are Gen Med competencied and therefore may be asked to float to any Gen Med unit throughout hospital. Travelers Float First

Dress Code: No childish scrub characters, as we are an adult unit.

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
