Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 18 months of recent CVOR experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Open Heart and Vascular surgery and must be proficient in scrubbing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgery.
- Assist surgeons and surgical staff in conducting procedures within the cardiovascular operating room.
- Ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are available and functioning.
- Adhere to safety protocols and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide the best care for patients.
- Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation, achieving an acceptable score on both.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 18 months of permanent CVOR experience prior to travel.
- Proven ability to scrub and assist in cardiovascular surgeries is essential.
- One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission.
- Must possess an active Ohio license (compact licenses accepted for assignments starting from January 1, 2023).
- Pass a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start-updated annually.
- Candidates must be nicotine-free, with exceptions for nurses and CSTs.

Additional Requirements:

- Must work at least every other holiday.
- Participation in BCI/FBI background checks within 48 hours of contract signing.
- Willingness to discuss any requested time off during the interview.
