HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Dialysis for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Location: 1200 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401
Contract Type: Travel Assignment (13 Weeks)
Start Date: September 2, 2025
Specialty: Acute/Chronic Hemodialysis Apheresis
Job Details
Shift Schedule:
- Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (up to 6 shifts per contract)
- Call Requirement: Sunday nights only (30-minute response time)
- Float Requirement: Across 3 Cone Health campuses
Patient Ratio: 1:2-3 (varies by acuity)
Requirements Qualifications
Licensure Certifications:
- Active RN License: North Carolina (NC) (required at submission)
- Certifications:
- BLS (required)
- ACLS (preferred)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent dialysis experience (acute/chronic)
- Technical Proficiency:
- Tablo dialysis machines (required)
- Baxter Amia PD, Spectra Optia apheresis (preferred)
- Clinical Skills:
- AV fistula/graft cannulation
- Troubleshooting dialysis alarms (conductivity, venous pressure)
- Managing complications (hypotension, hemolysis, air emboli)
- EPIC charting (non-negotiable)
Unit Facility Details
- Unit Capacity: 10 beds (9 bays + 1 Hep B isolation room)
- Patient Population:
- ESRD, AKI, drug overdoses, metabolic imbalances
- Apheresis for neurologic/hematologic conditions
- Procedures:
- Bedside ICU dialysis, peritoneal dialysis
- Average treatment time: 4-5 hours
