HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Facility: Cone Health - Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital
Location: 1200 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401
Contract Type: Travel Assignment (16 Weeks)
Start Date: September 2, 2025
Specialty: Cardiac/Medical Stepdown
Job Details
Shift Schedule:
- Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
- Holiday Coverage: Rotating (no holiday RTO accepted)
- Float Requirement: To other Cone Health campuses as needed
Patient Ratio: 1:5 (days), nights vary
Requirements Qualifications
Licensure Certifications:
- Active RN License: North Carolina (NC) (required at submission)
- Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (required)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- Required Skills:
- Cardiac drip titration (vasoactive, insulin)
- Dysrhythmia interpretation/telemetry monitoring
- PICC/Central line management, chest tube care
- EPIC proficiency (non-negotiable)
- Preferred: Charge nurse experience
Unit Facility Details
- Unit Size: 34 beds (all telemetry-monitored)
- Patient Population:
- Stroke backup, sepsis (lactate #137;curren;4), renal/endocrine disorders
- GI/hematological conditions
- Monitoring: Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD)
