Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - CT

Shift: Evening Rotational - 36 hours/week

Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist specializing in CT will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely evaluations of radiology procedures, equipment, and staff. This role involves interacting effectively with employees, medical staff, patients, and regulatory agencies, while prioritizing customer service in all activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold hospital information security.
- Follow hospital policies and procedures regarding incident reporting.
- Perform a range of CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
- Implement and follow appropriate radiation safety practices for patients and co-workers.
- Participate in Radiology Management System functions relevant to patient procedures.
- Provide patient education and information as required.
- Maintain clear communication with referring physicians and radiologists to ensure efficient delivery of CT services.
- Adhere to service delivery standards in all interactions with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
- Follow accepted clinical principles, methods, and procedures during CT procedures.

- ARRT (R) Certification.
- BLS Certification from AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross.

Preferred Certifications Licensure:
- NYS Injection Certification.
- ARRT CT Registration.
