Job Description:

Are you a skilled Telemetry RN looking for an exciting travel nursing opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift role in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with telemetry capabilities. This position requires floating to similar units as needed and demands a high level of adaptability and clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, including monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to patients needs and changes in condition, ensuring timely interventions.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry RN experience in a busy Level 1 Trauma facility.
- EPIC experience required.

Schedule:

- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a commitment of 36 hours bi-weekly, every other weekend (EOW).
- Contract duration: 40 weeks.
