Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 AM - 05:00 PM)
Specialty: Cath Lab RN
Start Date: September 2, 2025
Weekend Requirements: 1 weekend per month and up to 3 holidays per year
On-Call: Minimum 1 day per week (Monday - Thursday)
Experience Requirements: 1 year of relevant experience with NY state license in hand
Travel Requirements: Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility. First-time travelers are accepted.
License Requirement: New York RN license is mandatory for submission
Charting System Experience: Epic experience is a hard requirement
Floating Required: Yes

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cath Lab setting, ensuring adherence to best practices and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical symptoms before, during, and after procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record system, specifically Epic.
- Promote a safe and respectful environment for patients while delivering high-quality care.
- Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay updated with best practices in Cath Lab nursing.

Qualifications:
- Current New York State RN licensure.
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting, preferably within the Cath Lab.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
