Job Title: MICU Nurse - Night Shift (3x12-Hour)

Location: New York, NY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MICU Nurse for a night shift position (19:00 - 07:00) within a fast-paced Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients with a diverse range of complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care to individuals diagnosed with sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, and other critical conditions.
- Manage patients requiring post-cardiac arrest care, targeted temperature management, and multi-organ support.
- Utilize advanced equipment including Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), and Impella devices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient assessments and interventions.
- Maintain a patient-nurse ratio of 1:2, with the possibility of 1:1 based on patient acuity.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Position Requirements:
- Active New York State nursing license in hand (no exceptions).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an MICU or similar critical care environment.
- Experience with Epic charting system is a hard requirement.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
- Willingness to float to other units as required based on staffing needs.
- Must live outside a 75-mile radius from the facility.

Contract Details:
- Length: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)
- Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts, from 19:00 to 07:00.
- Orientation hours and additional details will be provided upon hiring.
