Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) with at least 1 year of experience to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in emergency nursing practices, with experience in both adult and pediatric care, and the ability to manage patients with multilevel acuity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department, addressing various patient needs including rapid assessment and management of critical conditions.
- Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias, manage multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, and administer emergency medications.
- Perform critical procedures including blood product administration, central line management, IV starts, procedural sedation, and phlebotomy.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, using Epic for charting and documentation.
- Float between different acuity levels as census demands, and maintain a patient ratio of 1:5.
- Participate in weekend coverage, requiring every other weekend shifts.

Qualifications:
- Current valid New York state license as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting with exposure to a variety of patient populations, including neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required.
- Strong skills in emergency nursing, IV management, and procedural sedation are essential.
- Familiarity with Epic charting systems is preferred.

Facility Details:
- Patient Volume: Daily census of 64, with approximately 145 visits per day.
- 34 rooms and 71 beds available for patient care.
- Support services include IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more.
