Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Normal, Illinois.
Job Description Requirements

Cath Lab/Special Procedures RNSchedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 6:00 PMOn-Call: Every 3rd weekend + 4-8 weekday on-call shifts per monthContract Length: 20 weeksJob Summary:The RN performs all required responsibilities and duties in accordance with the scope of service for the unit. This includes implementing procedures and nursing theories relevant to cardiac and special procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining clear, accurate documentation to support interdisciplinary care.Key Responsibilities:Complete initial assessments and develop patient-centered plans of care based on unit standards and patient/family needsImplement and regularly update care plans, nursing interventions, and proceduresProvide care for acute and chronically ill cardiac and pulmonary patientsAdminister medications, manage pain, perform IV venipuncture, blood administration, and monitor labsPrepare patients for procedures, and ensure safe, high-quality careUse EMR systems for thorough documentationDelegate tasks appropriately and follow up to ensure completionAddress and report safety hazards or incidents to maintain a safe environmentCommunicate effectively with team members and patients, using professional conflict resolution and feedback techniquesSupport peer development and engage in continuous learning to expand knowledge and meet competency requirementsApply Now!!
