HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Wound Care for a travel nursing job in Boone, North Carolina.
Job Description Requirements

Position Title: Registered Nurse - Wound Care
Location: 336 Deerfield Rd, Boone, NC 28607
Facility: Watauga Medical Center
Shift: Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,600
- W2 Wage: $648
- Stipend: $1,952
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of wound care RN experience required (travel experience preferred)
- Active BLS, BSN, and WOCN certification required
- EPIC EMR proficiency (recent use required)
Required Skills:
- Comprehensive wound assessment (size, depth, tissue health, and appearance)
- Expertise in selecting and applying appropriate wound dressings
- Proficiency in wound care techniques, including debridement and irrigation
- Patient and family education on wound care and prevention
- Accurate documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and responses
- Knowledge of wound-related pain management, including analgesic use
- Experience with ostomy care, including assessment, appliance management, and education
- Skilled in continence care, including assessments and tailored interventions
