HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Denver, Colorado.
Job Description Requirements
- Specialty: Oncology

- Shift: 12 hours, days
- Employment Type: Travel
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Compassionate for oncology pt population and the chronic pts
- Quick learner
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Chemo and biotherapy certificate
- Step down experience, we use lots of standing orders (fluid bolus, first fever) and very acute hematology pts.
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
- Lumbar puncture, bone marrow biopsies with conscious sedation and no sedation
- Thoracentesis
Number of Beds - 18Number of Staff - 37Type of staff:Day Shift - 1 charge (no pt assignment), 3-5 RNs, 1 CNA Night Shift - 1 charge (no pt assignment), 3-5 RNsPatient Ratios - 3-4: 1, (Patient ratios are estimated and not guaranteed)Type of equipment - tele, bladder scanner, alaris pump and alaris PCA, EMR - meditech
