Unit Specific Details
8-Bed CVICU
Equipment: Alaris pumps, hoyer lift, vents, sara stedy, PCA, glucostabalizer, bedside cardiac monitor
Patient Population: Cardiac bypass, cardiac surgery, adult patients (CABGs, TAVRs, VADs, Pacemakers, AICDs, etc.)
No techs but will call for one if 7-8 patients; however, dont usually have 7-8
Ratio: 1:1-2
All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normal staffing.
