Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.
Job Description Requirements
- Specialty: Stepdown

- Employment Type: Travel
Setting: Likely Acute Rehab / LTAC (Select Medical)
- Participate in weekly care conferences and provide timely updates.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the EMR.
- Engage in the unit's rehabilitation program by applying the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
- Provide education to patients and families to support recovery and discharge readiness.
- Initiate discharge planning upon admission and provide ongoing patient education.
- Communicate patient condition changes promptly to physicians and charge nurse.
- Supervise and delegate to LPNs, CNAs, and other ancillary staff effectively.
BLS Certification: Required prior to first shiftACLS Certification: Required prior to first shift (CIRH only)Experience: Minimum 2 years bedside clinical experience (highly desired)
