Job Title: Night Shift CT Technologist

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:45 - 08:15)
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic team during the night shift. This position is located in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment and will involve performing routine CT scans on a Siemens scanner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient care, particularly in trauma settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct CT scans on patients of all ages, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Operate Siemens scanners, including S3000 and Sequoia models.
- Perform a variety of CT procedures including abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion scans.
- Provide excellent patient care and adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety measures.
- Collaborate with medical staff and respond swiftly to emergency situations.
- Maintain patient records using EPIC and Visage systems.
- Ensure the efficiency of workflow in a high-volume setting with a daily caseload of 150-200 scans.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience, with hospital-based experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification and ARRT(R)(CT) certification required.
- Proficient in performing IV starts and contrast preparation.
- Strong background in trauma care, particularly Level II where applicable.
- Experience with PACS systems and knowledge of contrast media administration.
- Ability to work weekends with no requests for time off on weekends.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with outpatient imaging.
- Involvement in special procedures such as aspirations and biopsies.
- Familiarity with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) techniques.

Work Environment:
- Fast-paced emergency department setting.
- Rotation among multiple rooms with both routine and emergency patients.
- Ability to respond to urgent requests, particularly in life-threatening scenarios, including Code Stroke and trauma cases.

Additional Information:
- Must be comfortable floating to other units as needed based on skill sets and patient census.
- Undergo proper orientation and testing within the first week of assignment.
