Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Webster, Texas.
Job Description Requirements

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
. Safe medication administration including calculation of medications
. Administer medications and EMB using the 5 patient rights
. Appropriate handling of EMB
. Care of patients with NG/OG tubes
. Follow feeding orders and recommendations from OT/ST
. Care of patients of CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Nasal Cannula
. Care for patients with PIVs, PICCs, UAC/UVC
. Safely care for patients 22 weeks and above
. Understands use of all equipment in the NICU
. Promotes safe sleeping at 32-34 gestation
. Can demonstrate developmentally appropriate care when handling preterm infant
. Proficient in lab draws
. Knowledgeable in escalating patient concerns
. NAS scoring
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
. Experience with ETT, Vents Jets, Cooling, Surgical patients
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
. BLS
. NRP
