We are currently hiring a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our outpatient mental wellness clinic in Costa Mesa, CA. This position plays a critical role in conducting brain SPECT scans and managing all technical and regulatory aspects of nuclear medicine imaging. #156;#133; Key Responsibilities:
- Perform brain SPECT scans and complete related QA/QC procedures
- Prepare IVs and administer radiopharmaceutical doses
- Process and print imaging results before end of each workday
- Maintain Odyssey imaging system and accurate scan logs
- Conduct daily constancy tests, weekly wipe tests, and radiation surveys
- Handle hot lab operations and radiopharmaceutical inventory
- Perform regulatory calibrator tests (leak, linearity, geometry, accuracy)
- Track and manage medical/nuclear medicine supply levels

- Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist License in California
- Proven ability to manage large patient volumes efficiently
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Experience working with children and adults in a clinical setting
- Empathy, emotional stability, and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with brain imaging is preferred
- Experience with Picker Prism 3000 system is a plus
