Pay: $57.50 - $80.50 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicants relevant experience

Summary:
Coordinates and provides comprehensive outpatient medication management to optimize medication use.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews and assesses medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug related problems.
• Recommends formulary alternatives when appropriate. Compounds and dispenses medications for retail sales.
• Provides drug information and education to consumers.
• Communicates with physicians and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate care.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• State licensure as a Pharmacist
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
