HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Bradenton, Florida.
Job Description Requirements
- Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Discipline: RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Local Contract
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- BLS, ACLS, NIH
- ICU experience
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Critical thinking skills
- Experience with acute trauma and neuro patients
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
. Insertion of a-lines, central lines, dialysis catheters, chest tubes
. Massive transfusion (MTP)
- Percutaneous tracheostomy placement
- Any emergent procedures needed including opening of chest cavity, abdomen, burr holes, EVD placement
- ICP monitoring

- Able to handle high stress situations well/stays calm under pressure
