Job Description: Cath Lab Tech (Cath Lab/Vascular Lab)

Shift: AM (10 Hours)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, every third weekend
On-Call Requirements: 1-2 days per week and every third weekend

We are seeking a skilled and certified Cath Lab Technician to join our dynamic team in the Cath Lab/Vascular Lab. The ideal candidate will have the necessary certifications and experience to enhance our teams capability in providing exceptional patient care during various cardiovascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct invasive cardiovascular procedures including IABP, Impella, Rotablator, laser, peripheral, and cardiac procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Regularly assess and monitor patients throughout procedures, providing direct care and support as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and techniques in cardiovascular care, including GE Signa, Siemens, and Phillips equipment.

Required Qualifications:
- Valid certifications as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or acceptable ARRT credentials.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Proven experience in a Cath Lab/Vascular Lab setting, specifically with operating various cardiovascular equipment and performing related procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
