Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 4x10 day shift position. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for cardiac care and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Cath Lab RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in our efficient two Cath Labs and one Hybrid OR. This position requires recent experience in Cath Lab/Interventional procedures, as well as on-call availability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide clinical support and care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cath Lab setting.
- Circulate and scrub during various interventional procedures, including IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural, PFO, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures.
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions during procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection prevention standards within the Cath Lab environment.

Qualifications:

- Active RN license in Maryland (or compact license) is required at the time of submission.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional environment with circulating and scrubbing skills.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Proficient in utilizing medical equipment and technologies, including GE Innova IGS, Phillips, GE MacLab, and EPIC electronic documentation.
- Experience with 12 Lead EKG interpretation and knowledge of various cardiac medications and procedures.

Additional Information:

- On-call responsibilities required, with up to 10 weekdays (TBD) available for on-call and 2 weekends per contract (Fri 5 p.m. - Mon 6 a.m.).
- Weekend and holiday coverage may be necessitated based on unit scheduling.
