Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team at our Level 1 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of ER RN experience, with at least 2 years in a Level 1 trauma setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
Orientation:
- 2 days of classroom orientation.
- No on-unit orientation provided.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma center.
- Current New Jersey RN License (Registered Nurse).
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Current PALS Certification.
- TNCC certification is required.
Vaccination Requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccination plus 1 booster and flu shot are required.
