The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and supports the medical team in delivering healthcare services within a correctional facility. Duties include:
- Applying appropriate nursing skills in the care and treatment of inmates/residents.
- Assisting physicians during examinations and treatments.
- Operating pill call, sick call, and documenting medication administration.
- Performing technical procedures within the scope of licensure.
- Monitoring patient conditions, responding to emergencies, and maintaining medical documentation.
- Maintaining security, sanitation, and compliance with CoreCivic and state/federal regulations.

- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an active LPN license in New Mexico (or compact license).
- Valid drivers license.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid Social Security card (facility clearance requirement).
Additional Information:36 hours guaranteed per week; must have open availability per CoreCivic scheduling policy.U.S. Citizenship and Social Security card required for facility clearance.Auto offer - no interview required.Orientation typically on Tuesdays.Facility type: Correctional - security clearance required.Extension possible upon successful completion of contract.
