Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic healthcare team in a full-service acute care hospital environment. This facility has been a vital part of the community for over 50 years, providing comprehensive healthcare services, including surgical services, emergency care, and specialized treatment options.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, using evidence-based practices and adhering to established protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate respiratory care interventions.
- Monitor and manage patients on mechanical ventilation and other advanced respiratory support systems.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health management and the use of respiratory equipment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications:
- Required certification/licensure to work as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Virginia.
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP/PALS certifications (HWC certification available on-site).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Ability to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility as needed.

- Department: Respiratory Therapy
- Patient Population: Serves all ages, including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients.

- The facility is licensed for 220 beds and provides a wide range of medical specialties and services.
