Job Title: Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 16-week assignment, specifically for 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend required. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will provide critical care to patients in an emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department (ED).
- Effectively assess and manage patients in trauma level 1 or 2 settings.
- Adhere to best practices and safety protocols, including ACLS/BLS/PALS and TNCC standards.
- Use Cerner software for patient documentation and communication effectively.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Emergency Department of a similar size and trauma level.
- Current and active licenses: VA or Compact License required upon submission.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required. Trauma Certification (ATCN/TNCC/ATLC) preferred.
- Experience with Cerner strongly preferred.
- Must be willing to submit all requested time-off (RTO) during the application process.

Additional Information:
- This position has specific start dates (September 8th and September 22nd) and will require attending local orientations bi-weekly on Mondays.
- Candidates should reside more than 60 miles from the facility (locals are not accepted).
- The client reserves the right to cancel assignments up to 36 hours in advance due to census fluctuations.
