Job Title: MRI Technologist - Evening Shift

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team for an assignment lasting between 16 to 32 weeks. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled for evenings. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in MRI technology, particularly with EPIC electronic medical records within the last two years, which is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.

Responsibilities:

- Perform MRI scans on patients as per physicians orders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and reporting, including documenting procedures and protocols used during scans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals during patient imaging to optimize care and comfort.
- Ensure the MRI equipment is functioning properly and perform regular maintenance checks.
- Educate patients on the MRI process and address any questions or concerns they may have.

Qualifications:

- Valid MRI Tech certification or proof of certification in process.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum two years of hands-on experience with EPIC EMR system.
- Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, is required.

Additional Information:

- Orientation sessions are bi-weekly, with the next available session starting on October 6.
- Reliable transportation is necessary due to the facilitys location, which lacks public transportation access.
