Job Title: CT Technologist

Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Days/Evening 8hr Shifts Friday - Monday

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000

SUMMARY:

As a CT Technologist, your ability to empathize with patients, specialized technical skills, and dedication to quality, greatly enhances the overall success of imaging and the department as a whole.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Patient Care - Responsible for radiography of patients, including CT scans and Interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needs.

. Documentation - Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts.

. Daily Maintenance - Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock and prepare rooms.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

. Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.

. NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or) must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment.

. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment.

. Effective 7/16/2018 - NYS Injection Certification within six months of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

. Prior Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.

. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work in various software applications preferred.

. Exceptional customer service and communication skills preferred.

AAS: Radiologic Technology

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

R - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
