Preferred Experience: Labor and Delivery + Mother Baby experience (not required)
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Per Diem Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team for night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience, ensuring the highest quality of care for mothers and newborns. While experience with Mother Baby care is preferred, it is not a requirement for applicants.

As a Per Diem Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring and assisting patients throughout labor and delivery processes, collaborating with healthcare team members, and ensuring that the clinical environment meets safety and quality standards. This position requires a strong commitment, with a minimum of 4 shifts per month, and the flexibility to work occasional weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
- Assist with labor support techniques and interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Document patient progress and provide education and support to families.

Commitment: Minimum of 4 shifts per month with opportunities to pick up additional shifts. Weekend availability is required.
