Job Title: Cardiac/Endovascular Procedure Assistant (RN)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to assist physicians and allied healthcare staff in performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac and endovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will utilize their knowledge of pathophysiology to ensure patients are well-prepared, educated, and supported throughout the procedures. Strong critical care experience is essential for recognizing and handling emergency situations, and on-call availability is required.

Experience Requirements:
- Required: 1-3 years of critical care experience and/or Cath Lab experience.
- Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- Proficient in EKG interpretation.
- Preferred: Previous Cath Lab experience.

Education:
- Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is preferred.

Licenses and Credentials:
- Current New Jersey RN license is required.
- CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification is preferred.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Required Skills:
- IV certification.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, diplomacy, tact, and foresight.
- Ability to perform well in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
- Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of sterile technique and preparation for sterile procedures.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time position working 10-hour days, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Bi-weekly hours: 80 hours
- Contract duration: 91 weeks
