Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Job Description Requirements

- Facility Base: Primarily Battle Creek, with possible shifts at Grand Rapids based on census/volume

- Shift: 4x12-Hour Nights

- Administer intensive respiratory therapy (invasive and non-invasive)
- Educate patients pre-/post-treatment and at discharge
- Conduct:
- Ventilator management
- Oxygen therapy
- Nebulizer treatments
- Chest physiotherapy
- Suctioning (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal)
- Oximetry and capnography monitoring
- 12-Lead EKG arrhythmia recognition
- Pulmonary function testing (e.g., NIF, VC)
- Tracheostomy care (routine, insertion/removal)
- Arterial punctures and ABG analysis
- Bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and PleurX drainage (where applicable)
- Mechanical ventilation setup and operation
- CPR per BLS ACLS standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

- Proficient with all standard RT tasks
- Critical care and emergency airway experience preferred
- Familiarity with both hospital and moderate complexity lab environments
- Strong documentation and communication skills
