Job Description: Labor Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP) - Night Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP) to join our team for a night shift position (3x12-Hour: 19:00 - 07:00) in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of strong LDRP acute care experience, with a preference for candidates who have additional Antepartum and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Labor and Delivery, Recovery, Antepartum, and Postpartum Unit.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care for mothers and newborns.
- Utilize nursing skills for antepartum/postpartum cross-training and adapt to varying patient needs.
- Assist with various procedures, including circumcision and cervical cerclage, while following updated protocols and compliance measures.
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, breastfeeding support, and newborn care.
- Monitor and assess maternal and infant statuses during labor, delivery, and postpartum phases.

Qualifications:

- Current and valid MD/Compact nursing license.
- Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and E-CFM - Antepartum.
- A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in Labor Delivery is mandatory.
- Experience with charting systems is necessary.
- Availability to work rotating holidays and weekends as required.

Unit Patient Care Details:

- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, and Adults.
- Daily Census: Approximately 22 patients with patient ratios maintained at 3:1.
- Involvement with special procedures such as cesarean sections and postpartum hemorrhage management.
