Surgical Technologist - First Assist
If you are an experienced surgical technologist passionate about assisting in advanced surgical procedures, join us as a Surgical Technologist - First Assist. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting surgeons during operations by ensuring precision and maintaining a sterile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sterilize instruments and prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, suturing incisions, or holding retractors as needed.
- Ensure the sterile field is maintained throughout the procedure to prevent infections.
- Monitor equipment functionality during surgeries and report any issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare patients for surgery by positioning them appropriately on the operating table and applying sterile drapes specific to the procedure being performed.
Work Environment:
- The role is primarily based in hospital operating rooms or specialized surgical centers equipped for advanced procedures.
- This position requires focus and stamina in high-pressure environments where precision is critical for patient outcomes.
